MCJ 2018 Big Easy Update

Happy New Year MCJ family! 2018 is your year to make some very positive things happen. The MCJ New Orleans team is busy getting ready for the takeover this Labor Day Aug. 31 thru Sept. 3, 2018. Guess what? You're showing up already by booking your hotel rooms, the initial 50 rooms we contracted the hotel for are gone! But, don't worry, we made arrangements for more (they're giving us another 15 rooms) at the very same super low rate of 119.00 per night. Keep in mind this is a very tourism driven city so we're doing good with that rate. Secondly, we've got more great news! We like variety, we like options, so now we have a second property to choose from for our stay in New Orleans and it's literally across the parking lot from the Courtyard (see pic below). Homewood Suites is offering us a rate of just 10.00 more at 129.00 per night and they have a couple amenities that makes it an excellent deal as well. Here’s a reminder on how much dues are:

Seniors - - (65 and over) - - 50.00

Adults - - (18 - 64) - - 65.00

Children - (13-17) - - 40.00

Children - (6-12) - - 20.00

College Student - - 50.00

When sending your dues make sure you list the exact amounts and names you are paying for. We're developing a spreadsheet for tracking so we need to ensure accuracy. We'll be sending monthly reunion updates via email, facebook, and blog posts on the MCJ website. Also, for the old schoolers we even have a regular snail mail U.S. postal newsletter on the way as we speak.
