Gone Much Too Soon

It is with shock and sadness that I write to inform our MCJ Family that Antonio Collins tragically lost his life on April 18, 2018. For those who may not know Antonio or how he's connected within our family, here is the short version genealogy. Most would know our Dayton, Ohio matriarch Geneva Collins. Of her many (sons) and daughters is Delois, her son is Antonio and his son was also named Antonio.

Tonio, as some called him was 25 years old, an age where you might expect the news to be of an impending marriage, or birth of a child, or anything other than our beloved Antonio is no longer with us. We're asking for prayers for the immediate and extended family. And we also want to take a moment to hug our young people, tell them we love them and express to them how precious life is.

For those who would and understandably in this type of unexpected tragedy, any financial assistance that could be offered would be greatly appreciated. Services will be held on this Friday April 27, 2018, viewing at 10:00 a.m. Service at 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. Enon Baptist Church 1501 W. Third Street Dayton Ohio 45402. There will be a private viewing on Thursday for the immediate family, with a dinner afterwards to which all are invited. Check with Dayton family members for those specific details.
