MCJ 2018 Airport Shuttle Express

Hello Fam, August is here and the excitement is building toward the end of the month when MCJ 2018 New Orleans will be on and poppin! Please share this info with all who plan to attend the reunion so that everyone can make their arrangements accordingly.

Airport Shuttle

Great news family! The MCJ 2018 New Orleans host committee will offer complimentary shuttle service from Louis Armstrong International airport to our hotels. If you are flying into New Orleans you will be able to take advantage of our complimentary shuttle service on Friday August 31st between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. All you have to do is let us know as soon as possible and we'll add your pick-up to the list. The shuttle will also operate outbound on Monday Sept. 3rd beginning at 7:00 a.m. or whenever first flights require. Please use the contact information below to make a reservation. The shuttle van will be with us throughout the weekend.

Dues/Wristbands

A friendly reminder for those who haven't yet paid their reunion dues, please use the contact info below. In order to better track dues collection we will be issuing wristbands at reunion check-in at the hotel. Check-in will begin promptly at 4:00 p.m. Friday August 31st in the Courtyard By Marriott hotel lobby. Check-in station "A" will be for those who have paid already. Check-in station "B" will be for those who have not yet paid. Upon registration check-in you will be issued a MCJ 2018 wristband. Please wear the wristband throughout the weekend. Scholarship

In speaking with our scholarship committee, we have received some report cards so far but we suspect that there are many more to come. Please read the communication below from the scholarship committee.

Hello family! On behalf of the MCJ Scholarship Committee we would like to thank everyone who has submitted their student report card(s). Please, please, please spread the word if you know of any other students that are attending the MCJ 2018 Reunion in New Orleans, LA. The scholarship committee ask respectfully that we receive all reports card by August 31st, 2018. We will not accept them after that time… No exceptions! We have several options listed to submit report cards.

Remember: *All images must be visible which will include student name, grade level & school information. Business Meeting/Reunion Attendance

And lastly, please make sure we have maximum attendance at the business meeting on Sat. at 10:00 a.m. at the Courtyard MCJ Meeting room (same as Friday). We have lots of important items to cover and we'll be taking many important votes/actions. A full itinerary for the entire MCJ 2018 New Orleans weekend events will follow in the next newsletter. Please encourage our young people to attend the reunion. That's all for now.
