Final Shoutout before MCJ 2018

Hey MCJ, the reunion is almost here! We've made a list, we've checked it twice. Every t is crossed and every I is dotted. We're all set and now its all on you. Show up, (make sure you pay your dues) and you will have the most epic time of your lives, guaranteed!

I'm attaching the itinerary below so you'll know the step by step but first let me hit the high points and last minute reminders. For those flying into New Orleans, remember we have an airport to hotel shuttle. The contact info is below but please let us know asap if you'll need a ride. Once you arrive at the hotel, get checked into the hotel first, and the MCJ registration second. Tee Shirts will be available in the lobby and continuing all weekend. The meet and greet starts at 6:00 p.m.

Saturday morning begins with breakfast. We'll be shuttling everyone across the street to IHOP. Everything is taken care of concerning payment, tax, and tip so just ride, eat, and enjoy, no need for any payment. Next is the business meeting at 10:00 a.m. at the hotel. Lots to cover so please be prompt and engaged. After the meeting, we'll take a short break and immediately load the buses for the tour. We'll have beverages and snacks on the buses but bring cash for food and shopping along the tour.

After returning from the tour, we have a really fun activity planned at the Shamrock Gaming Center. It's like a combination pool hall, night club, with food and drinks and all manner of games. We'll hang out there for a while and the really adventurous amongst us will probably be leaving there heading to Bourbon Street afterwards. The shuttle will return the less adventurous back to the hotel.

On Sunday morning our own Rev. Larry Steib and First Lady Dee Dee will host us at their church for an 8:00 a.m. service. Immediately after, a few of us will be recruited to assist with setting up the banquet hall. Everyone else is free until 1:00 p.m. when the banquet starts. Please be on time and don't forget it's an All-White Affair. We have a great meal planned and lots of business to take care of including the scholarship awards, auctions and other fundraising. We have a very special treat planned for the end so please don't leave early. Here's the actual Reunion Itinerary.
