Greetings MCJ, hope everyone made it safely back home and recovered from our big blowout! Wow, too much fun, you guys really know how to have a good time! Love was in the air all weekend and everyone is looking forward to next year in Virginia Beach. Btw, we've been in touch with family members there and are praying for their safety as Hurricane Florence heads in their direction.
We've been getting rave reviews on our little soiree in New Orleans, thank you all for enjoying our hospitality and for doing your part to make the weekend more successful and fun. Well, it gets even better because we're pleased to present our final report which puts even more icing on the cake. I have several excel files containing the financials of various parts of the overall reunion if anyone has further questions. However, the report is more digestible by simply giving the bottom line figures along with some narrative for context.
Our goal is to be transparent and to set a standard for good stewardship of the family's resources. If I left anything out or had any errors, please bring this to my attention.
Total Registered/Dues Paid Family Members --202 (rates range from adult, senior, student, child or single event). We continue to work toward 100% participation and we're pleased to report that we came very close.

There you have it, we started with zero, and we'll end with zero. No deficit, no bills unpaid. Plus, we feel very good about having a surplus ($1,663.00) to turn over to our next hosts. They'll need this and a lot more because things simply cost more in certain markets than others. So, I'm encouraging everyone to send those dues in early! We'll contact you soon with the first newsletter explaining where and how to send dues and make hotel reservations. That's all for now from your New Orleans host committee.
Much Love,
New Orleans Host Committee
