Hello Fam, was that a blast in Virginia Beach or what? Big time kudos are due to the outstanding MCJ 2019 Virginia Beach hosts for a job well done, thank you, thank you, thank you... For those that could not be with us you really missed a treat but you'll get a double dose next year in Kansas City right, right!

And pardon me for recycling the image above for branding our Virginia Beach adventure but admit it, King Neptune is just badass ain't he? I digress, since the reunion is in the books we need to take a quick snapshot of the finances so here is my wrap up on the business conducted in Virginia Beach.

Congratulations to our Virginia Beach hosts for delivering not just the fun, be also the value in terms of managing costs so they were able to return a substantial balance back to our treasury (see financial report).

Family Reunion dues paying attendance was 152 members, rates ranged from adult, senior, student, child or single event).

We made no major changes during our annual business meeting but we did have requests to host subsequent reunions and they are slated in the following order.

2020 - Kansas City

2021 - Will Simond is researching cruise destinations and we give a report once he determines good options.

2022 - Washington D.C.

2023 - Arizona

2024 - Open

2025 - Indianapolis, IN

There are additional documents like full breakdown of scholarship awards, business meeting notes, and Myzella's Bereavement Committee report that I can send upon request, just let me know if you'd like to receive a copy.

Well, it's on to Kansas City next year and I've heard that already plans are under way for an epic experience for 2020. Newsletters for MCJ 2020 will be forthcoming before the end of this year.

Much Love,

MCJ Family Reunion
