Minnie Mae Collins RIH

Greetings family. By now most have heard of the passing of our mother, Minnie Mae Collins. Last Sunday, we had travelled to Memphis and the plan was to pick mom up there (she was coming from Chicago after celebrating her sister's 98th birthday) and we were going to Aunt Bessie's funeral in Charleston, Mississippi. We got the call that she had experienced a massive stroke at the train station while waiting to board the train. We rushed to Chicago and stayed with her in ICU and then a separate room until Sat. when she transitioned. Thank you for your prayers and support. Its never easy but Mom lived a full life, loved everyone and everyone loved her. When she transitioned she was doing what she loved to do, traveling to celebrate with and be with family. The photo attached is the last picture she took at her sister's celebration. Next order of business is to give her a nice home going.
