Not only that, we're also looking forward to this being our first year to use our non profit state tax exemption which means each person booking a room will not have to pay the state tax portion on their bill. Here's what the weekend has in store for you so far.
Friday Meet & Greet - 4 - 8 p.m. Check-in is our very own corner of the Embassy Suites lobby where we will be lit! You can't miss us cause we will be loud and proud under our MCJ Banner with good eats, beverages and love in the house! Handle your business, get your welcome bag and get this party started!
Saturday Breakfast & Business Meeting - For early birds, breakfast starts at 7:00 a.m., but you have until 9:00 a.m. to grab a full breakfast before heading upstairs (second floor) to one of the ballrooms for our MCJ Business Meeting beginning at 9:30 a.m. Please be on time, lots of business to handle by 11:00 a.m. so we can make it to our mystery surprise destination by 11:30 a.m. (more on this later)
World's Best Picnic/Barbeque - 1:00 p.m. We're in KC so I'm sure your taste buds are ready for some great barbeque and we will not disappoint. We've got a great picnic spot and use of the Hillcrest Community Center so the kids will love it and the adults/seniors will be comfortable too.
Sunday Morning Worship - Still working it out, but you know we'll worship together somewhere.
MCJ 2020 Banquet & Program - 1:00 p.m. We have a nice banquet facility, decorated MCJ style and a sumptuous meal planned for our guests. We're also planning some fun and exciting entertainment as well as prizes and surprises. Plus we'll award the scholarships to the kids and handle all our MCJ business.
