Beloved MCJ member transition

It is with profound sadness that I inform you of the passing of a beloved MCJ family member, Myzella Dowdell. Myzella succumbed in her battle with cancer, a battle she had been quietly and valiantly fighting for the last several years. For regular MCJ attendees you will recall that Myzella was our Benevolence Coordinator, making sure we recognized family members in times of bereavement.

Myzella was married to her loving husband Stephen Dowdell and retired from a successful career as an administrator with the Social Security Administration. She was number 3 in a large family of 14 children, 8 girls and 6 boys. We knew her as straightforward, meticulous and no nonsense. She loved life and her radiant smile shined on all around her. She will be sorely missed and may God embrace her and provide peace to her loving family. Funeral arrangements will be forthcoming and will be shared with all.
