Family Member Has Passed

It is with deep sorrow that I relay the passing of Mary Elizabeth Hoover, affectionately known by many in her family as "Mert". Mary had been in declining health for sometime having moved to a skilled nursing facility following a stroke she suffered a year or two ago. Mert loved her immediate and extended family and was a regular at family reunions having hosted MCJ three times in her hometown of Kankakee, Illinois. We'll miss her warm smile and engaging personality. Our prayers are with the family in our collective time of sorrow.
