Our official reunion dates this year are Sept. 3-5, 2021 which is the Friday-Sunday preceding Labor Day. However, we’d like to extend a warm KC invitation to those who choose to extend your trip by arriving early on Thursday 9/2 to attend a special opening party at the Collins Compound at 61st Street and Jackson Ave. Our host hotel (Embassy Suites Country Club Plaza) has agreed to extend our special hotel rate (139.00/king 149.00/double) before and after our event to help make your stay more enjoyable and less costly.

Beyond our special Thursday night event we’ll follow our usual itinerary with the Welcome to KC Meet &Greet on Friday evening at 6:00 p.m. at the hotel. The annual MCJ Family Business Meeting will be Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. followed by the KC Masterpiece Picnic at 1:00 in Swope Park at the Bandstand, just off 63rd & Jackson. Saturday night we’ll have a range of suggested activities including chilling at the hotel for the less adventurous. Sunday morning we’ll worship together for those that choose to followed at 1:00 p.m. by our annual MCJ Banquet with all the related activities. The banquet will be held at the Fireman's Hall at 63rd & Manchester. That’s the general outline, we’ll put a little more detail on each activity as we go forward.

Thank you to all who’ve paid their family reunion dues already and made your hotel reservations. I’ve noted a couple of additions to the paid list. For those who haven’t gotten around to it yet, check below hotel information for dues info.

Below, is the complete process to book Suites under the Metcalf-Collins-Johnson Family Reunion Block. Family can call Reservations 24 hours daily, at 1-800-445-8667 to book a reservation. Guest must provide the Group Name “Metcalf-Collins-Johnson Family Reunion” or Group Code “MET” to receive the Group Rate.

Also, Family can book reservations online using the Booking Link. You must use the entire link for the Webpage to display properly. You can forward or copy/paste the link to your website. As always it will be critical to have an accurate count of the number of people attending the reunion in advance so please let us know who's attending and pay the appropriate reunion dues for your group. As a reminder, dues haven't changed since last time so here is the fee structure:

Seniors: $60.00 (age 60 or up)

College: $60.00

Children:13-17 $50.00

6-12 $30.00
