Hello family, hope all is well. August is just around the corner and that means we're getting close to MCJ 2022 Family Reunion Cruise to the Bahamas Sept 2-5, 2022. And, we've got exciting news for someone who wanted to go on the cruise but had slept on the deadline for reserving your cabin.
Our MCJ VP Kay Bodude has made a very gracious offer. Listen closely because it's almost too good to be true. Kay had previously reserved a spacious ocean view balcony cabin on the family reunion cruise to the Bahamas but unfortunately will be unable to go. Sooo, she will give to a lucky family member her cabin for two, absolutely free of charge. And, although we thought that Royal Caribbean charges a transfer fee in these circumstances, I called to check and there is no transfer fee!
That means you and a lucky companion could possible receive this cabin for free! Now you still have to get to and from Orlando, Florida but hey, with a free cruise cabin you'll have a big head start cost wise. So, if you're interested, here's what you do. Just send me an email at ecollinsemg@gmail.com and I'll give you all the details.
Also, speaking of the upcoming MCJ Cruise we want to let everyone know that now is the time to get those tee shirt orders in. It is a cruise this year so our expected attendance is 21 cabins and 44 attendees which is much smaller than our regular numbers. It will be very important to order your tee shirts early because we won't be just bringing large numbers of shirts on the hope that we sell them. Send Lee a text with your tee shirt order including your size and number of shirts. The design is not ready yet but you know it'll be fire as usual so just get those orders in now by sending a text to Lee at (816-510-5187). Also, even if you're not attending the cruise this year please go ahead and get the tee shirt, you know it's for a great cause.
That's about it for now, don't forget to download the Royal Caribbean App for those going on the cruise and pay particular attention regarding the rules about covid vaccinations and testing prior to the cruise. Will is posting a couple more updates prior to the cruise which I will share to the group.
Stay safe,
MCJ Reunion Planning Committee
