MCJ 2023 DC!

Hola family, trust everyone is good. Fall is here, the trees are sharing their vibrant, multicolor, bouquets and a chill is in the air for most of us not in the west, southwest or Florida. That means we've turned the corner on another great family celebration this past Labor Day weekend, which happened to be a super fun cruise to the Bahamas on Royal Caribbean that many of you missed, but I won't dwell on that. What I will say tho is we're now in major planning mode for next year which happens to be an amazing weekend in our nations capitol set for Sept. 1-3, 2023!

Yep, you heard that right, MCJ 2023 is slated for Washington, DC on Sept. 1-3, 2023 and you, you, and you are all expected to be there. I mean, already you have one of the most vibrant, exciting places in America, so much history, so many things to see and do, places to go that everyone should say to themselves, now this is one I absolutely can't miss! And I haven't even begun to tell you about all of the supercool things our gracious host Tamika Law has planned for the family. You literally will need at least two extra days and maybe more in town just to scratch the surface of what's available. So, mark your calendars and start stuffing the vacation savings jar because I guarantee this will be a very memorable experience for the whole family.

To kick things off with a bang, we have some very exciting news to share about our accommodations while in the DC area. Drum roll please, we're pleased to announce our host hotel for MCJ 2023 is the Doubletree Washington DC - Crystal City! Yay, say what, you mean we'll be kicked back in the Doubletree on our budget, well yeah, you got it right, the Doubletree, nice digs and we love them cookies right? Our host negotiated a great rate of 149.00 per night and this will apply for a couple extra days before the event in order to encourage attendees who want to come early. Although it's never too early to start talking about dues, I want to focus on only one thing for now and that is the hotel rooms. The reason thats important is that we need to show any business we're dealing with (especially hotels) that we're serious and we're substantial. So, let's book those 30 rooms right away, and then we'll go up to maybe 50-60 rooms and our hosts will do the math on that number of room nights plus ancillary revenues to the hotel including food & beverage, bar, and other amenities. That calculation will bring respect and ultimately additional benefits from the hotel management to the family. So for now what do we all need to do?
