Hello Family, hope all is well on this Super Bowl eve. Lots to communicate regarding our upcoming MCJ 2023 Family Reunion in Washington, DC, September 1-3, 2023. But first, we salute both the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs on outstanding seasons culminating in the opportunity to be crowned world champions of NFL football. Good luck to both teams and I'm sure that the vast majority of MCJ family members (including Barbara Anne, sorry Bengals fans) will be rooting for the Chiefs to bring home the Lombardi Trophy. Go Chiefs!
By last count, we had forty something rooms already booked at the Doubletree Washington DC Crystal City and that number is increasing fast. So, if you haven't already, use the link below to book your rooms right away. Step 1 Reserve rooms now.
Step 2 is to pay your dues and you can do that now using cashapp. To pay your family reunion dues you may use the following cashapp name. $MCJ2023inDC. Moving forward we'll have additional pay methods including paypal and zelle. For those favoring traditional methods like check or money order we will work on adding those as well. For now, let's get those dues rolling in (via Cashapp) so we can take care of our deposits to reserve facilities and the caterer.
The following family reunion dues still apply based on us deciding not to raise the dues at the last reunion on the cruise. Although our reunion dues remain very low in comparison to other comparable events, we must address this in a democratic manner at the reunion by majority vote. So for now the following dues apply.
Family Reunion Dues
Adults: $75.00
Seniors: $60.00 (age 60 or up)
College: $60.00
Children:13-17 $50.00
6-12 $30.00

Since Washington DC has an extraordinary number and variety of things to do, we recommend if possible to arrange extra time for your group to enjoy your trip. The same good hotel rate will apply throughout your stay so a day or two extra is recommended to have a truly memorable time.
