MCJ Family Members Making Moves

Hello family, how's everyone doing? We're pleased to be posting with some good news to balance some of the more unfortunate news we've been dealing with lately.

MCJ Family members Kay Bodude (MCJ Vice President) and Myrrie Hayes are the principles (CEO & CFO respectively) of Best Care Behavioral Homes based in Phoenix, Arizona. Founded in 2015, Best Care endeavors to assist adults living with mental health conditions and give them the ability to reach recovery and gain independent living skills by providing the best care. Best Care provides integrated services to individuals in need of structured residential placement (see full staffing and services via link below).

In addition to their day to day business, Best Care is in the process of a huge expansion project. The project is a visionary Healthcare Development located in Globe, Arizona, which is approximately 87 miles outside of Phoenix, Arizona. The size and scope of their plans for this business venture are very impressive and encompass a whole city block and several buildings coming online during different phases of the development plan.

In phase 1 a Crises Stabilization Unit (CSU) is planned to house individuals dealing with various crises (drug/alchohol etc.) and in phase 2 the plans call for a 56 bed residential facility followed in phase 3 by the development of assisted living apartments for those in need. Although this proposed Globe Block Project is Kay & Myrrie's brainchild they intend to partner with one of the largest healthcare companies (United Healthcare) in order to make this dream a reality.

Best Care Behavior Homes & United Healthcare would co-develop the properties and provide healthcare services that are very much in demand both locally and nationally across the U.S. This venture is an outgrowth of health related careers in skilled nursing care and basically just surveying what opportunities exist in the ever expanding sector of health related services. Congratulations to our MCJ family members on their business plans and they would like everyone to know that if you are considering a career in healthcare, please don't hesitate to contact them and discuss opportunities.

For more information, visit the Best Care website http://www.bcbhaz.org Eventually, we'd like to develop a section for family business ventures on the MCJ website.

Much Love,

MCJ Family Reunion
