Greetings family. There's a buzz in the air and excitement is starting to build for the MCJ Family Reunion 2023 Washington D.C. on Sept. 1-3, 2023. Family members are converging from all over the country and they're arriving by plane, train, buses and automobiles. That's right, every mode of transportation there is will be utilized by MCJ family members to get them to this year's reunion. In fact, the crew from Gary, Indiana are chartering a 56 passenger bus to whisk them to Washington D.C. in style and if you're anywhere close to Gary, Indiana and you're headed to DC anyway, well this may just work out for you.

So far, the charter bus is just a little over half full so your timing is good if you hadn't already locked in your transportation. The primary organizers of the charter bus trip to DC are the Johnsons of Gary Indiana and if interested just give Terrilyn Johnson a call (219-712-3416) to make arrangements. Here's the basic info that will help you determine whether the charter bus round trip from Gary, Indiana is a good fit for you.

Lastly, we'd like to share some tragic news of the untimely passing of a young family member. Tiaa Jenae Perry was involved in an automobile accident and succumbed to related injuries on July 7th. Tiaa was just 18 years old and after graduating high school was planning to attend Valparaiso University in the fall. The memorial service took place on yesterday. Our prayers are with the family at this time. For reference, the family connection extends from Harvey/Alice Johnson, oldest daughter Dorothy, son Robert, daughter Tiaa. May God bless and keep the family during our time of grief.
